There are six ways to adjust supply item values for subsequent events:

            1. Correcting a Log In Transaction Correcting Log Ins

2. Correcting a Log Out Transaction Correcting Log Outs

3. Undoing a Log In or Log Out Transaction Undoing transactions

4. Adjusting the item for Returned Merchandise  Returned Items

5. Adjusting the item's Dollar Value for additional costs Adjust Dollar Value

6. Adjusting for Physical Inventory Batch Physical Adjustments

The first five functions are accessible from the Single Item Update Menu buttons (below).

Adjusting for Physical Inventory, however, is available from Main Menu | Supplies | Batch Physical Inventory Adjustments

Selecting a Transaction for Adjustment

To correct, undo, or adjust any  transaction in Single Item Update, you must do two things:

·  Select the transaction from either the Log In or Log Out grid.

·  Double-click the grid row.

Here, I have "selected" a log in transaction of 2/6/07 where 12 units were received from vendor 112 at a price of $.525 per dozen.

The Edit Option window asks me if I wish to Undo the transaction or Edit it.

If I choose "Undo," the transaction will be eliminated, the units and dollar value adjusted and I may log It back in correctly.

If I choose "Edit," then I simply change the erroneous data and the proper correction in Units, Dollar Value and Avg Cost take place.
