"greyed" when they sign on. Thus, they are barred from the
purchasing manager menu functions. |

User 1: "W" rights so all functions
available |
User
7: "E' rights so buttons are "greyed." |

You may elect to fill some or all of the open
requisitions. Select the grid rows
you wish filled and click the "FILL SELECTED" (below)
Otherwise, select no grid rows and just click the "FILL ALL"
button (below).
All grid rows will be filled. Note: A grid
row will be filled only if there are enough
units on hand to completely fill the order. |
This function automatically
"fills" (logs out) the requisitions selected in the grid below |
||||||||||
"REQS NOT FILLED" Listbox. If a requisition cannot be filled, it appears in the listbox (right). You may re-edit the units in the grid by
referring to the Units On Hand column (Units OH) in the listbox. |

Editing/Delete a Requisition Grid Row Before
Filling Since the Open Requisitions screen contains an ,
you may delete
or edit grid orders prior
to filling them. To Delete:
1. Select the grid row(s) you desire. Below, we have selected "409 Cleaner" (highlighted
in blue) Note: You may select several records by clicking the row selector while holding down the [Ctl] key. 2. Click "Delete
Reqs" button . Note: the "Are
You Sure?" message box (below) lets you change our mind. |
|||||||||||
Voila! The order for ”409 Cleaner" has
disappeared from the open order grid (left). |
|||||||||||
Editing a Requsitions To Allow It To Be
"Filled" Here, 50
units were ordered for Stock # TS-319 (right) but we see from the REQS NOT FILLED listbox (below, right) only 12
are on hand. |
|
||||||||||
Above, we know department 3422-01's's order of 50
units is too high to be filled, since there are only 12 on hand.. 1. Therefore, we must change the "Units" grid
field to 12 or less to fill the order. Below, we enter 6 (half the on hand
units) 2. Next, we select the TS-0319 row in the grid and
click "Fill Selected." |
|||||||||||
3. This message box confirms the TS-0319 for six units order has been filled
and removed from the Open
Requisitions Grid. |
4. Next, we click the long "View/Print" button. This function lets us generate a report that shows
what orders were filled. |
||||||||||
Below, we choose
"Today's Requisitions: FILLED Only." Option and click
"View/Print" inside the PRINT options box. We inspect our "fills" and send this
report to the stockroom to pick the supplies to send them to the ordering
departments. |
|||||||||||
5. Inspecting the ACTUAL LOG OUT on the Single Item
Update Screen. Fetching the filled item, we see that the
requisition has been posted to the
pink log out grid as a log out of 6 units. Note: The "oQ" transaction
code, indicates this log out was filled by Requisitions PLUS rather than just
the "o" transaction code that comes from a log out from Single Item
Update or Batch Log Out.. |
