Batch Log Outs

Batch Log Outs are great when you have a high-volume of orders to fill.

Rather than call up each item and log it out, you do so for multiple items all on one screen (left).

There are fours basics steps:

u Fetch the Item

v Enter Units Out and Dept

w Add to Batch

x Post the Batch

u Fetching the Item

There are three ways to fetch an item in Batch Log Out: By Serial Number, By Item Name and by Keyword Search

Note on Item Name Checkbox"

If "checked" then both list boxes are in ALPHABETICAL ORDER by Item Name.

If "unchecked" then both listboxes are in SERIAL NUMBER ORDER.

Note: Item Name checkbox (above) is "unchecked" so both listboxes are in SERIAL NUMBER ORDER.

By Serial Number

After you enter the search fragment, you may either hit [Enter] or click the “Keyword Search” button to display the search results.

Here, if you check the box and then click the “Keyword Search” button, the listbox displays any item name that begins with “BI”

These boxes (pink areas)  show the details on the item you "fetch"

v Adding Log Outs to Batch

When you have entered your Units Out and Department values, click the Add to Batch button and the log out will be added to the batch grid (below). There is no limit to the number of items in a batch.

w Posting the  Batch

Here, we have entered a batch of seven log outs—5 to ACCT and 2 to Exec Admin. There is no need to start a new batch when the department changes. Notice the total dollar cost to be charged out is 330.33 (below left)

To post this batch, click the button Post LOG OUT Batch. (below)

You're batch is posted.

Now you have the option to print out the log outs you have posted. This is a handy "picking List" so that your warehouse man can pull the items and send them to the proper department.
