Standing POs
A "Standing PO" lets add a new PO by copying an existing one. Let's say you issue a seasonal PO each year. Call up last year's PO with the PO Finder function and you will be prompted to accept or reject the PO shown here (left).
If you choose, "Yes" (above), it copies the contents of the old PO to the a new PO number with today's date. Here, you receive a confirmation message.
Notice the old PO number (1950) has been replaced with 2174 and today's date (7/30/07) entered in the new PO. Now all you need to do is edit the PO and click "Save." Essentially, a Standing PO saves you time because you no longer have to retype existing information.
