Editing Supply Item Parameters
How do you change or edit supply item parameters if you need to? There are two basic ways to edit a supply item parameters: · In the Single Item Update · By Editing the Supply Grid Single Item Update. (Main Menu| Supplies-Single Item Update) Simply “Fetch” the supply item you wish to edit and select the desired field (right). Here we wish to change the Reorder Point from “0” to “50”. Then just type in the new information. When you exit the record , the changes are automatically saved.
Editing the Supply Grid. (Main Menu| Supplies-Edit Supply Grid) Use the Supply Grid if you need to change multiple items one after another. This way is much faster than the single item update method if the items are in a certain sort order. The grid may be sorted by clicking the appropriate field header. Here, we have sorted the grid on Stock Number. The editing process is simple—highlight the item field to be changes and type in the new value. The change is made automatically when you leave the field.
