Keep
in mind:
- You must fill in Item Name (40 chars) and Stock Number (up to 15 chars).
- Duplicate Stock Numbers are
rejected automatically.
- Lot Size (10 chars) tells ULTRA what one
unit consists of—each, dozen, box, etc.
- Reorder Point (10 chars) is a cutoff point.
When Units On Hand fall below it, the item is flagged for “Reorder.’
- Catalog Group (10
chars) is a group tag that
allows similar items to print together in reports.
- Reorder Factor we’ll
deal with later in the Utilities
functions. It’s useful.when you have more usage data to work with after
a few months.
- Misc 1-4 fields (10 chars) are user-defined fields. Put
whatever you want in them upmto 10 ch. A bonus: Reports can be sorted on
them.
- The Notepad lets you leaves notes to yourself about the item.
