Supply Kit: Adding/Editing/Deleting |

A supply kit is a function that allows you to log out
several items together as though they were one stock number. For example, if you are an insurance company and
want to issue the latest forms to a branch for every policy the company
carries, you could create a new KIT NUMBER and assign each form to the kit.
Then, when you issue (log out) the kit, the branch will receive all the forms in the kit and be
charged the average cost of each
item in the kit. A supply kit is different from a Catalog Group in
that a SUPPLY ITEM may be assigned to MANY DIFFERENT KIT NUMBERS but only ONE
CATALOG GROUP. A kit is used for logging out whereas a Catalog Group is used
for grouping items together in a SUPPLY REPORT. There are two functions for supply kits:
Adding A Kit: To add a kit, we first must:

Add/Delete/Edit 2. Click the “ADD A KIT” button. |

Here we type in the Kit Number and Name (“Promo100; Promotion
Materials-XMAS”) and scroll through the Stock Number listbox to find a supply
item (“AV063”) to assign to the kit. We click the “add” button to assign it to the kit. We repeat the process for each item we wish
to add to the kit PROMO100. When finished, we click “Done.” Below you see the kit
(“PROMO100”) for four supply
items:
Deleting a Kit Row: Simply select the kit row to delete
and click this button. Below we
select stock number AV064 for deletion from the kit. Selecting
the row to delete:
To delete an entire kit, simply delete the kit rows
one at a time. Editing a Kit Simply make the changes directly to
the grid since all the fields are editable. The changes are automatically
saved, so you don’t have to worry about saving them manually. w to delete and click this button. Below we select stock number AV064 for
deletion from the kit. Copy Kit Number and Name Button Save time and typing when adding a new item to an
EXISTING KIT. Simply select any
row of an existing kit and click the button.
The kit
number and name of the row are inscribed into the ADD A KIT ROW form. |
