“Selective” Search & Replace Editing: Supplies
In this example, we wish to replace the Lot Size field for only certain items. Just follow the numbers: u “Choose Search Field.” Here it is Lot Size. v Enter “BOx” for the “Search for” value w Enter “CARTON” for the “Replace with” value. x Click “Search” button.
The Search Result
Although 67 matching items are found and displayed in the grid, we only wish to replace 5 of them. We need” selective replacement.” y Selective Replace. To select multiple grid rows for replacement, click each row while holding down the CTL key. Then click the “Replace SELECTED” button. A warning message box alerts you that you have selected 5 items to replace. Click “Yes” in response to the “ARE YOU SURE?” query.
		Notice that the grid has updated the items selected. “CARTON” has replaced “BOX” for the selected rows.
